40th Anniversary Tea Party and AGM. John Dowling, a member from the beginning with Christine Madeley (L) and Sally Stanion, both Trustees.

In common with many other organisations, we are having to curtail our services. We are endeavouring to keep in touch by telephone with snippets from the Observer for as long as it's published. There will also be a few news items on this website each week. We hope to resume normal service as soon as it safe for both our listeners and volunteers. Keep well.

With the pandemic situation appearing to improve, the Committee has been considering when it will be safe and practical to resume our normal service. The health and safety of our volunteers is foremost in our minds and we hope to begin a possibly limited service from September.

We're pleased to say that our weekly service has been resumed. The news section will only feature two readers and the magazine section will generally be  recorded over the internet. We apologise for the lower quality of those recordings, but will continue as such until the situation returns to normal.
